Buried probably somewhere in the area of Kilmore, Co. Cavan where there is a memorial:
This memorial was erected by the friends and parishoners of the Rev. Joseph Story M.A. Vicar of Urney and Annageliffe as a memorial of their affection and the unfeigned regret for his loss. Zealous and faithful as a servant of his Lord unswerved in his efforts to relieve the wants and alleviate the sufferings of the poor he passed his life in a course of active beneficence attracting the regard and securing the esteem of all who new him in the various relations of life. For 18 years he discharged his duties of a minister of the gospel as Rector of Tomregan(?). After his removal to his Parish he continued for 2 years labouring to premote the temporal and ???? welfare of the flock entrusted to his care, when in the midst of his useful career he was cut off by fever on the 23rd day of ???? 1838 in the 50th year of his age
