Just a hurried note. To ??? you about a certain business matter of yours.
It is in connection with the estate of Caroline Armstrong Jollie. I had a letter from the Guardian Trust & Executors Co. asking me to sign a release on settlement of the account on your behalf. They have sent a statement. Which show a total assets as £987.8.3 for distribution. As follows. ½ Share to the children of E. Jollie & ½ share to children of Mrs. M. Story & according to this letter you are one of the six children of Mrs. Story & entitled to £80.12.1. If you have any reason to believe that this is not correct, send me a cable just saying don't sign & then write by air mail. I will not sign for three weeks from the date of this letter.
In signing the release I will admit on your behalf that the statement, is a full settlement of your claim. Hoping you & yours are well. I hope I am doing the right in this matter.
