Dorothy Vera Caroline Story |
- First daughter to Lieut-Col Robert and Mary Story born 1904 at Bingfield, County Cavan, Ireland. Educated at Cheltenham Ladies College, then Alexandra College, Dublin then London University. Worked in 'catering' in various schools and private hotels, also for Lyons teashops. Looked after aged 'Aunt Florrie' in Torquay and visited the family villa La Storietta at Bordighera on the Italian Riviera with her. Emigrated to New Zealand and worked in the Y.W.C.A hostel in Dunedin until she met husband Harold North and had two sons. Currently living in an old peoples home in Dunedin (1998).
