The bond for this one was sworn on 21 August 1813, and adds that Francis was a stationer in Penrith; Margaret was a minor in Brampton; and that the bond's witness was her father, John Routledge of Brampton, currier, who consents to the marriage.

Robert had lost his first wife to cancer. They were married in New Zealand and went back to live at Bingfield, Co. Cavan.
