• Comment:General view of the beach. The dog is "Jock" and the trees are pohuta-kawas which are a blaze of red at Xmas time. The furthest hill at the back is 900 ft and we reach half way up it to the left. You can just see the car by a telephone pole on the left. Goat Island is behind you in this photo and where the car is standing can be seen (not in this photo) in the view from the house. Where the three children are standing is where the logs were rolled down.
